How to use, grading standards and FAQ
What to check when grading One Piece cards
- Regular cards have thin borders, so even slight off-centering shows. A PSA 10 needs 55/45 or better on the front and 75/25 on the back.
- Alt arts (parallels) run the art to the edge with no border, so fingerprints and micro-scratches show clearly. Measure centering against the printed frame, such as the text box or card number line.
- Manga rares have matte black-and-white art where a single scratch is easy to see. Shoot under angled light with no glare.
- Corners must be sharp, and the two bottom corners, which get handled first, wear most often. One white speck can turn a PSA 10 into a 9.
How to use
- Put the card on a plain background (a dark desk or white paper) and shoot from straight above. Take it out of its sleeve or toploader for an accurate result.
- Add the front photo, and the back too if you have it. The card outline, inner border and any whitening are found automatically.
- Drag any dot or line that's off, choose the condition of the corners, edges and surface, and the estimated PSA, CGC, BGS and TAG grades appear. You can save the result as an image.
Centering standards by grading company
A ratio is the share of the wider border in the total of both borders. For example, 55/45 means one border is slightly wider than the other. The table summarizes the standards each company publishes (checked October 2026).

One Piece card grading FAQ
Are PSA 10 centering standards the same for One Piece cards?
Yes. One Piece cards are the same 63 × 88 mm size as Pokémon cards, so a PSA 10 needs 55/45 or better on the front and 75/25 on the back. CGC, BGS and TAG standards are in the table on this page.
How do I measure manga rares and alt arts with no border?
If the detected inner lines are off, drag the pink lines onto the printed frame, such as the text box edge or card number line. How far that frame sits off-center is the centering.
Which company should I use for One Piece cards?
PSA sells best on resale, CGC balances cost and speed, and BGS is popular for chasing a Black Label with four 10 subgrades. TAG uses a stricter TCG back standard and shows a detailed 1,000-point score.
Do Japanese and English prints differ?
Japanese prints are often said to be more consistent, but it varies by set. Centering differs card to card even within the same card, so measuring each one before you submit is the safest bet.
Where do my photos go?
Nowhere. They are analyzed in your browser on this device, with no sign-up or limits.
